Karen Lassoni, DPT
Karen Lassoni PT, DPT is a Board Certified Physical Therapist earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Since graduating with her DPT degree in 2013, Karen has taken on a passion for treating a variety of orthopedic cases, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Karen also received her Bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey in Health and Exercise Science where she played collegiate basketball.
Karen is currently preparing to sit for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) board exam. The OCS is a rigorously challenging certification that requires over 2,000 hours of treating orthopedic patients as well as an intensive board exam. She is also certified in the Functional Movement Screen Level 1. The FMS is a grading system of 7 specific body movements that identifies limitations in total body function and mobility.
Through manual therapy and corrective exercise, Karen is passionate about conservative care and is dedicated to helping patients decrease pain and improve function. She prides herself on listening to her patients while combining the latest research in developing an individualized treatment plan. Her ultimate goal is to empower patients to live a more pain free and active life. In her spare time, you can usually find Karen spending time with her husband Jason and their two bengal cats, working out, and reading.
